The ability to use appropriate technologies for communicating, information management, learning and scholarship is critical for “living, learning and working in a digital society” (JISC).
This interactive workshop will introduce staff and students to a number of resources which will allow them to reflect on current skills and practice and explore how digital literacy skills and competencies can be introduced into the curriculum. We have three exciting key speakers who are all closely involved with the development of digital literacy and flexible learning:
- Dr Alison Le Cornu Educational Consultant and HEA Academic Lead in Flexible learning
- Dr David White from the Technology Assisted Lifelong Learning group at the University of Oxford
- Terry McAndrew from JISC TechDisc and Academic lead on the HEA Digital Literacy in the Disciplines project.
