Pecha Kucha presentation at HEASTEM event April 2014

I co-presented with two of the students (Shane Kilduff and David Skerret-Byrne) involved in this project in a Pecha Kucha styled presentation at the Higher Education Academy STEM event (Edinburgh, April 2014).

The PK format, where 20 slides are automatically progressed at 20 second intervals, can be considered quite a challenging format, however both of the students embraced this presentation style. It certainly focused minds on what was the important information to deliver. The format also allowed for a much longer discussion time between the audience and all of the speakers in the session. This led to a wide-ranging debate, which both students readily engaged in.

The full event programme is available here and the abstract can be viewed here HEA STEM 2014_submission_196.
